The spellbook of Herman Von Schreck was bestowed upon his former apprentices Hilda Von Karlsveld and Friedrich Kreutzer shortly before Herman's death.[1] The book itself seemed to have considerable supernatural power locked away within it. Friendrich used it to perform a long-distance, two-way communication spell with Ivan Dragonov[2]. In addition, the spellbook can be used in rituals of soul transference.[3]
Because of her experiences in Lamordia and the supernatural power of the book, Hilda eventually turned it over to Nana Zsolty Taksony.[4]
