The Trade Quarter of Muladi was the district where the Colonial Merchant Company, the Boritsi Trading Company, and the Carlyle Trading Company have established their bases of operations in Sri Raji. Originally they were allowed to operate out of this quarter because it was one of the poorest sections of town. However, all three trading companies have spent money to improve the conditions in the surrounding neighborhood. As a result the Trade Quarter is now a fashionable district to live and work.[1]

The roads now known as Colonial Street, Boritsi Street, and Carlyle Lane run through the Trade Quarter.[1]
