The Sunken City

The Sunken City is the unpopulated ruins of a great underwater city lying beneath the waves of the Nocturnal Sea. It was discovered by Hilde Borganov during her searching for a new lair. Its architecture suggests a strange and alien design of some unknown, lost civilization. Hilde has gleaned that civilization had the name Shay-lot, though whether this refers to a race, the city itself, or some bygone nation is unknown. If examined thoroughly, remnants of the culture hint a civilization that is abhorrent to many intelligent creatures.

Hilde discovered a great stone temple in the center of the Sunken City. The interior of the building is entirely cut off from the outside, which has made Hilde believe the remnants of the Shay-lot are imprisoned inside the temple. She seeks to free them and assume leadership, ultimately using them to wreak vengeance against the surface world for the eradication of her clan.
