The Ogress Lurrhein

An origin story for the hags as told to Dr. van Richten by Mason, a native of Sithicus. It describes how a race of ogres once ruled the world during an era called the Age of Dreams. Lurrhein believed that the ogres had made too much progress and should stop their over-reaching. Her influence was so much that the evil deities of her world cursed her and transformed her into a hideous abomination. Her kin exileed her. Eventually she went mad and became little more than a bloodthirsty mass murderer. Yet, in her loneliness, she would spare some of her prisoners and enthrall them.
