The Lamenting Rake of Paridon (real name: Timothy Strand) was a Rank 4 Ancient Dead. In life, he was an incorrigible hedonist who squandered away most of his money. He used the rest to build a combination tomb and shrine to an evil deity in order to achieve immortality in undeath.[1]
The clergy and lay worshipers who used his tomb to worship their dark god also bestowed the power of their worship upon him.[2]
