The legend of The Headless Mule is an advisory tale told across the Land of Mists to refrain from lust. It tells of a priest who breaks his vows of celibacy by letting himself be seduced by a seemingly innocent maiden. However, once corrupted, he discovers her to be a horrid beast, a black-furred mule with no head. Instead, it has two pinpoints resembling eyes that shoot out ghostly flames. Of all the varying details in the story, the description remains remarkably similar.[1]
