The Execution of Andrew ApFittle

Andrew ApFittle was a paladin and the last (known to Tristen) member of the ApFittle Clan, a family that stood in the way of Tristen ApBlanc's dominance over Forlorn. Andrew was imprisoned, tortured, and ultimately executed at the orders of Tristen in Castle Tristenoira.[1] Andrew's death was the deed that finally brought Forlorn into Ravenloft.[1][2]
This seminal event took place in 547 BC.[2]
(Note that Tristen did not truly wipe out all the ApFittles. Unknown to Tristen, Andrew's sister Nellie ApFittle] survived the purge by joining the druid order and having children there after. Shelaugh was one of her descendants[3], and although Shelaugh too may be dead now[4], the ApFittle bloodline continues with at least one more ApFittle descendant. Shelaugh had a daughter, Fionna, who follows in her footsteps.[5]
