Vir Stannum

Vir Stannum (or as it was known by its creator, Talos) was the dread mechanical golem created by Gustav Malvoni. Read his entry for its backstory up to Gustav's death. During Vir's time in the Shadow Rift, it (or its remains) were discovered by Waelin, master artisan of Anvolee. These shadow fey fixed the mechanical golem, but it stormed off in a huff when it learned even Waelin couldn't give it that which it wanted most: a soul. Vir now wanders the Land of Mists hoping to find a real Soul Engine or at least a craftsman who can build it one.

Unlike most dread mechanical golems, Vir Stannum requires the ingestion of a fuel supply, namely gems.
