[Category:The Core] or not? It is really more an [Category:Island of Terror] but accessible, and accessible only, through Fractures. For example, if one jumps from Tepest into the Shadow Rift one never arrives there. Hence, not part of the Core? It is an absence in, rather present to, the Core, non?Cure 11:23, 12 March 2010 (UTC)

Debatable, I guess, but IIRC, Domains of Dread and the RCS/RLPH list it among the core domains, so go with their lead, I say. I forget how The Shadow Rift (Module) or Gazetteer V explain the effect of the Rift's impenetrable cloud cover. Is it just a permanently closed border, maybe? Also, IIRC, the dissolving effect only applies to living creatures. Objects can fall in and reach the bottom, right? If so, it's Core for sure. (IMC, I said yes, and had a Mechanical Golem fall through unscathed. Of course, he broke a bit when he hit the ground, but unscathed by the mists) -- Gonzoron 15:59, 12 March 2010 (UTC)
