Do Darklords enjoy any special protection against scrying?
- none that I can find. Why do you ask? -- Gonzoron 01:24, 13 April 2010 (UTC)
As I recall (and I could recall wrongly), the crystal ball is described as having the special power of trumphing Darklord resistance.Cure 06:17, 13 April 2010 (UTC)
You are correct. FtS, p44: "Unlike most crystal balls, this one can focus on domain lords" In the 2e Red Box, Realm of Terror book, p121, it lists this as a specific shortcoming of crystal balls. Darklords are indistinguishable from the fabric of their domain. This restriction has been omitted in 3e, it seems. Whether by accident or intentionally, I don't know. -- Gonzoron 20:56, 13 April 2010 (UTC)
A question for the developers perhaps.Cure 22:24, 13 April 2010 (UTC)
Sure, though I doubt you'll get an answer on such a minor point from such distant past. -- Gonzoron 12:15, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
