Selbstmorde Reef

Selbstmorde Reef is a Reef somewhere in the Nocturnal Sea and close to the spot where Hilde Borganov was born. Her wereray clan lived there until it was wiped out by surface dwellers through the :use of spells and magic items. The jagged reefs nonetheless remain highly dangerous to ships, not uncommonly sinking ships and delivering their crews as to the barracuda and sharks for consumption.

Selbstmorde Reef is in fact a number of reefs not far to the southwest of Ile de la Tempete. The reefs endanger shipping in the channel separating the island from the Isle of the Ravens. Some sailors maintain that these reefs only "come out at night". They are a site of whale beachings.
