Sekhelo, the Queen in Gold, is a Loa who is worshipped in Souragne.[1] Sekhelo is the Loa of the sun, banisher of darkness and queen of the open sky. She is the mother of Tonthomba the Burning Man and an unnamed Loa of the moon. She is a patron of those who would fight evil and seek knowledge for the common good.
