Saga of Pavel, Heir to the Sun

A Barovian folktale about the folk hero named Pavel, Heir to the Sun. In the saga, Pavel must gain his inheritance by winning a piece of the sun through besting a number of of guardians and tests. Such guardians include the Third Guardian of Darkness, a loup-garou, and the Fourth Guardian of Darkness, a field filled with ghouls. Pavel defeated the latter by tossing the blood-ridden pelt of the former into the field, causing the ghouls to turn on each other. Pavel then slew the final ghoul.
