Rudella Mindefisk was the wife of Holger Mindefisk and foster mother of the three Hags: Laveeda, Leticia, and Lorinda of Tepest. She wished to have a daughter, but her husband did not. Therefore, she prayed to the fey for a daughter to be delivered to her. The Three Hags of Tepest was the answer to her prayers. However, raising them drew away her vitality, and she eventually perished while they were still young.[1]
