The Rowan Faction is a group of Forfarian druids once led by Shelaugh. Once the most powerful group of druids in Forlorn, the tides of fortune changed when Shelaugh launched a doomed attack on Castle Tristenoira in 750 BC. Most of her attack force perished horribly, leaving the Oak Faction the most powerful druidic group in Forlorn.^[1]

Despite their monumental defeat, the Rowan faction still follows their old ideology:returning the balance of good and evil in Forlorn by culling the evil in the domain.^[2] The faction's current leader is Fionna, and Belenus is the primary deity venerated by the Rowans.^[3]
