Rivalin ApTosh

Rivalin ApTosh was the father of Tristen ApBlanc and a war hero for the highlanders of Forfar centuries before its entry into Ravenloft. However, Rivalin was felled on the battlefield and subsequently left for dead due to the storms. A vampire came upon him as he lay dying and drained the rest of his blood, transforming Rivalin into one of the dreaded undead.

Rivalin eventually returned to his home city of Birnam in Forfar. For a time he drank the blood of only Flora ApBlanc and never so much as to kill her or transform her into one of his kind. However, the sipping of Flora's blood unknowingly tainted that of her unborn child Tristen. And eventually Rivalin could not be sated by Flora, so he began praying upon other victims in the village. The body count eventually brought out vampire hunters after him. Ultimately, Rivalin was killed by a mob of villagers.
