Resplendent Cloakers are a form of Dread Cloaker. A resplendent cloaker captures a host by using its Color Spray ability and then attaching itself to its host. Benign relative to other dread cloakers, resplendent cloakers "eat" physical damage of their host by healing them. However, possession of a resplendent cloaker is a double edged sword, for they are harmed by healing spells cast upon the host and drain hit points from their hosts to compensate for the damage they take. Resplendent cloakers are believed to become Undead Cloakers upon death if slain by an undead's foul touch.^[1]
