The Red-Earth Field is a substantial field of terracotta clay near Pakat. It was only discovered in 742 BC, following the Rebirth of Kali. However, Pakat and its nearby villages have taken great advantage of the Red-Earth Field. The region has rapidly gained a reputation for its fine ceramics.[1]
