Southwest of Ste. Mere des Larmes, the Quartier Savant (Noble Quarter) holds the large and elaborate residences of the nobility of Port-a-Lucine and the upscale shops that provide for their wants. It holds thrice the area as the Quartier Ouvier.[1]
