Professor Dora Meltzer (real name:Rebekah “Bessie” Abreveya is a psychic, medium, mystic, and healer residing in New York City. She is a Russian Jew, having fled a racial pogrom by the Cossacks with her family to the United States in the summer of 1885. Many have consulted her talents, including Theodore Roosevelt, Samuel Clemens, and Mrs. Astor. She knows of the Red Death's involvement in the persecution of her people.[1]
