Prince Iben Amar is the traitorous, debauched son of Sultan Amuraba of Aljaugasba. So hateful of the moral restrictions of Amuraba’s Code was the prince that he arranged the assassination of his father and his father's vizier Abdul Iben Azed. Prince Iben Amar coerced Abdul to deliver the final blow against the sultan and then pinned the whole thing on Abdul. Following the vizier's execution, the prince used the political opportunity to abolish the sultunate in favor of an oligarchy so that something like Amuraba’s Code would never again threaten his life of debauchery.[1]
