Pieter loved Ivana Boritsi. This sparked the jealous rage of Camille Dilisnya, Ivana's mother, who disguised herself as her daughter and seduced the ill-starred young man. Camille then denounced Pieter to her daughter, claiming that it was she who had been seduced by Pieter. Ivana proceed to effect his murder him a virulent poison.
