A paddlewheeler is steam-powered watercraft. It is propelled by the blades of a wheel that is turned by a steam engine. A paddlewheeler can be either a sidewheeler or a sternwheeler. Known paddlewheelers so far belong to the latter category. Paddlewheelers are mostly confined to rivers for want of seaworthiness, being found principally in the Musuarde River. They are wonders of technology achievable only in lands with a Cultural Level of 9. As such, they could conceivable be built in Dementlieu, Lamordia and Paridon.
