Oren Lumley

Oren Lumley is the great-grandnephew of Howard Lumley, who had built (or at least thoroughly renovated) Lumley House roughly a century earlier. When ownership of the abandoned Lumley House fell into Oren's hands in 752 BC, he attempted to take possession of it. However, he quickly discovered that locals refused to even approach the house, obliging him to hire a band of adventurers to clear it of any remaining danger. The success of this endeavor is unknown. The house was, and perhaps still is, home to a dread mechanical golem named the Automatic Man.
