The Night Gallery is a floating pocket that consists of a single traveling art show. The paintings in this gallery are magical; they are reality warpers. These paintings entrap potential victims by afflicting them with curses with the purpose of forcing the victims to seek refuge into the paintings to flee their curses. The Spider Lady Portrait is one of the paintings that is displayed here.[1]
The darklord of the Night Gallery is the Curator[1], but the Curator is not the artist who created the paintings. They are the creations of Ralpuchio, whom may return some day to see what has happened to his artwork.[2]
