Narek is the bastard son of Kas the Destroyer. He has become a unique aberration, residing in The Library of Kas. 
Note that Narek was never converted to 3rd Edition. Hence, any creature types below are speculative.
Background
Narek was born to a concubine of Kas but took to the study of arcane magic and eventually became a student of Vecna. Jealous of his master's attention, Kas imprisoned Narek away, and Vecna soon thereafter turned his wandering attentions elsewhere. Isolated and alone, Narek attempted arcane rituals to escape his imprisonment but only succeeded in transforming himself into a corrupt abomination.[1]
Although an entirely unique monster, Narek's present state might bare some relation to the roper.[2]
