Meekulbrau is a blood-red Kartakan wine made from meekulbern berries[1][2][3]. The drink has a bitter taste[1][2], so foreigners generally dislike it.[3] Kartakans claim it improves vocal performances[1][2], a fact attested to by the small bonus it gives to Perform (Sing) checks made shortly after consumption.[3]
Meekulbrau leaves a noticeable red stain upon anything touched by it, including the mouth and teeth. This fact is exploited by wolfweres needing an excuse when caught with blood in their mouths.[3] Meekulbrau is also used to color Harkon Lukas's coach when he wishes to go about in style.
