Marie Whitmoor was a native of Staunton Bluffs. She was the wife of Claude Whitmoor, and the mother of Thaddeus Whitmoor and Celia Whitmoor. Her life was claimed by some fever that was brought into Staunton Bluffs by an unnamed foreigner.[1]
