Maria van Richten is the younger sister of Dr. Rudolph van Richten, both having been born and grown up in Rivalis.[1] She was born in 678 BC.[2]
In one of the possible endings of the Bleak House adventure, the ghost of Van Richten asks the player characters to seek her out and apologize on his behalf that he never saw her before his demise. (It was Rudolph's intention never to draw her into his dark world of revenge and monster hunting following the demise of Ingrid van Richten and Erasmus van Richten.[3] Maria's own fate has not been detailed, although it may be presumed that she does not occupy Richten Haus or live in the vicinity.
