Malthus Karkar

Malthus Karkar is an ancient Gnomish Vampire and skilled mage as well as the patriarch of Clan Karkar. He has made thralls of his living descendants for hundreds of years, feeding off their blood. He also feeds off the blood of customers of the clan's weaponsmithing business (the Karkars ask customers to provide several pints of blood as part of their payment.) Malthus can be found in the Midnight Market with his other kin, where he usually disguises himself as a radiant ball of light with another gnome taking on his name.
