MacFarn of MacFarn was the aginng chieftain of Clan MacFarn on the brink of death, but he had no direct heir. He left it to Lady Iolan to determine which of the children of his brother Alain MacFarn get the title. The choice was between Duncan MacFarn or Donal MacFarn.[1]
