The Mᴓrkendre ("Black Heart") is a lake within the Ulvskoven, the largest forest in Kartakass. The Mᴓrkendre is fed by two creeks, and the Nharov River runs from the Mᴓrkendre into Barovia.[1]
Because the Mᴓrkendre is located within the vast and terrifying Ulvskoven, it is rarely visited by the human people of Kartakass. However, rumor holds that the lake is inhabited by some vicious scaled creature.[1]
