Liza Penelope is a minor character from the Dance of the Dead novel. She dies early on in the book, her death a cause for La Demoiselle du Musarde to leave Nevuchar Springs through the Mists, taking the boat and all those aboard into Souragne.
Biography
She was a soprano singer and actor working on the riverboat La Demoiselle du Musarde. She played "Rose" in the ship's traditional play, the Pirate's Pleasure. The flirtatious Sardan played her romantic lead Florian, and Larissa Snowmane played "The Lady of the Sea", the play's antagonist. In Nevuchar Springs, she fell in love with the local baron, Baron Tahlyn Redtree. after discovering Captain Raoul Dumont's secret activites as a slaver, she gloated the captain she was going to tell Redtree. However, before she could inform Redtree, Dumot strangled her and attempted to place the blame on the baron. When the attempt failed, Dumot took everyone on the ship and fled Nevuchar Springs out into the Mists.[1]
