In the Penitent dread possibility, Linat[1] is not only a rare Good aligned dread doppelganger but also a member of the Mordentish Sect of the Church of Ezra. She fled Zherisia when her mentor betrayed her to adventurers but, facing a cold Barovian blizzard, a hermetic priest of Ezra took Linat in. Having taking oaths of poverty and pacifism, Linat now wanders the lands trying to counter the depredations of other dread doppelgangers. Bastion Sarlota Otrava has guessed Linat's true nature but still supports the reformed dread doppelganger due to the Bastion's own unusual nature as an ermordenung.
