Lake Veda is a lake in northeastern Sri Raji.[1][2] The city of Muladi is situated upon Lake Veda's shores. The lake's waters provide for Muladi's rice paddies, but this lake water is befouled such that the rice paddies frequently fall prey to disease and parasites. Ironically, the people of Muladi are somehow able to derive the main portions of their food supply from fish and seaweed.[3]
