Kapo-Wairua

Kapo-Wairua is the darklord of Hiva Motu. An akuatele ("sky spirit") thrown from the heavens for unknown reasons, he has become addicted to feasting upon the dreams of mortals. His touch puts one in a state of euphoric sleep, but it does last for long. For in these fitful sleeps people lose their mana to Kapo Wairua, the "Stealer of Souls". Under the guise of providing "holistic healing" to transgressors of the law, Kapo-Wairua's murders never are discovered. Such is his power that he projects an unnatural, intoxicating peace over the domain of Hiva Motu such that he will never be discovered. Yet the curse of the Dark Powers is such that he will never be free of his addiction to dreams.
