Kahoda Dvivedi

Kahoda Dvivedi believes himself to be the divine proxy of Kubera, the Rajian god of riches, although he has been cut off from his god ever since Sri Raji was drawn into the Mists. Despite this separation, he still commands the obedience of the guhyakas who inhabit the Caverns of Wealth.

However, perhaps due to the lack of contact with Kubera, Kahoda Dvivedi exists in a constant state of mental and physical flux. Mentally, he swings between extreme generosity and paranoia. (Fortunately his chief advisor, Nabhi, has learned to moderate the effects of his worst moods.) Physically, he awakens most days to a changed appearance, sometimes appearing more human, sometimes more guhyaka, sometimes as misshapen as the most unfortunate calibans.

Because Ravana once stole Kubera's kingdom and riches, Kahoda Dvivedi stands opposed to that god and any of his servants, including rakshasas and The Stalkers. However, he bears no similar ill will towards Kali or the Dark Sisters.
