Jereed Mel

Jereed Mel owns and runs the General Merchant store in Goldendale. She is the outspoken matriarch of the town, at least until the coming of the Straw God. Speaking out against the false deity has left her scarred. Only her daughter Tenetha has kept Jereed's grumblings in check such that she does not share the same fate as her husband Karel Brovya, who was already killed by the Straw God. As of late, Jereed has seemingly fallen into a depression.
