Ixcapa is a domain literally locked in eternal war. In a foretold era of famine and calamity, two twin brothers, Balamlum, the Sand Jaguar and Kuch’tun, the Stone Vulture war endlessly against each other for the the throne of Ixcapa. Their ruthless competition has doomed the realm to repeat a yearly cycle of doom and destruction that ensnares all whom enter the realm, foreigner or native alike.[4]
There is one hub for relative safety and prosperity within Ixcapa, Nueve Pilares, where the invaders have taken the up the unlikely role of stabilizers. However, even this city is subject to the time loop effect of Ixcapa.[5]
