Dr. Milhavet is a naturalist and writer. As of Gazetteer III, his most recent work was "Struggle and Victory in the Animal Kingdom", a subject of some controversy according to "S". He posits that the rat has having the highest place in the hierarchy of nature, citing a lack of predators in Richemulot as evidence to back up his claim.[1]

Dr. Milhavet is a zoologist that studies Tempetian bats, their relations to each other, and the disease vectors they spread among each other, for purposes unknown, though he is relatively secretive about it.[2]
Dr. Milhavet has traded information with the Ikosik to obtain specimens of these bats.[3]
