Immerabt is an Island of Terror and archipelago with two main islands of significance and numerous other smaller islets. The level of technology in this domain is highly advanced (if unclean and foul), with behemoth sized industrial machines powered by steam, coal, and electricity. However, this comes at a price, for these machines continually spew out horrible wastes that warp nearby life, especially in the seas surrounding the archipelago. In turn, the warped sea-life can spread disease and other pathogens to those who dine upon them. The people of Immerabt still consume them because of their faith in the medical sciences of Immerabt.[5]
The two main islands of Immerabt are Unguttas Island and Gaol Isle.[6] The darklord of the domain, Dr. Dorothy Hemphyll, resides on Gaol's Isle in her Quarantine Fortress.[7]
A quirk of this land is the emphasis on preservation and lengthening of life (though not necessarily improving its quality.) Punishments for other crimes are relatively lax compared to murder or concealing one's disease. Anyone caught committing such transgressions are taken to Gaol Isle for corrective therapies- anyone who take life is seen as "sick" and needing of treatment. Sadly, few of those that make the trip to the Isle come back.[8]
