Iagus

A minor character in the novel Knight of the Black Rose, Iagus is a gargoyle in the service of Strahd. In 720 BC, he was one of the military officers whom commanded a legion of human soldiers against Lord Soth near the gates of Castle Ravenloft. He left the battle to report back to Strahd on the progress.[1]
