Hevnens Ambolt

This cave beneath Bluetspur was once the home to a band of Shattered Ones, but they were driven out by a Mulan wizard snared by the Song of Obscene Hunger. The wizard and his qabal of followers decided to conquer all of Bluetspur, but their arcane preparations drew the attention of the Illithid God-Brain. This cave has been uninhabited since the slaughter of the wizard and his qabal, but to ensure it remains so, the illithids left behind a crystal which amplifies the arcane resonance of any magic cast in the area.
