Headmaster Henryk Vilkule

Formerly known as a miserly merchant, Headmaster Henryk Vilkule seemingly underwent a religious conversion to the Church of Ezra and founded the Balduska Foundling House, ostensibly a much needed orphanage but in actuality one of the worst schemes of exploitation within the faith's history.

Background

Henryk Vilkule faked religious conversion to impress the church leaders at the Great Cathedral to fund the establishment of a much needed orphanage to serve an uncared for population of orphans. In addition, the orphanage would give the church a seed to begin conversion where their rival, the Church of the Lawgiver, was strongest. With funding secured, Vilkule traveled to Kantora and set up the Foundling House as headquarters for his sweatshop and slave ring operations. Kidnapped from the streets of Kantora, many children came in and were brutalized in order to make them obedient. Vilkule follows the approach that the playful spirit of children must be violently stamped out. The educational staff of Balduska House are truly cruel abusers that enforce Vilkule's will.

Vilkule was unaware of a malignant presence lingering before he bought house, though the evil he has committed has made it much worse.
