Grumman Knox

Grumman Knox was murdered in 697 BC. He was the nephew of Professor Robert Knox who at that time headed the School of Medicine of the University of Il Aluk. He was also the friend of Amo Pesadilla, the Undertaker of Il Aluk. The latter recruited him into the fight to rid the Great Cemetery of a plethora of resurrectionists. Among these ghoulish men were one William Burke and one William Hare. Grumman discovered the pair at work and for his trouble had his head caved in with a shovel. When the cadaver of the young Knox was offered to his uncle, the latter calmly purchased it, and proceeded to report Burke and Hare to the authorities. Before the pair could be arrested, they learnt that they had been betrayed by their long-standing business partner, broke into his home, and murdered him.
