Grezanletyr

Grezanletyr is a tarnished copper dragon that was corrupted by an obsessive greed almost unknown among his kind. Though his violent outbursts of greed were rarer than his evil kindred, they did happen. After raiding a traveling caravan for a magical gem, one of his victims tried to lay a curse upon him. Although the curse was never truly effective, Grezanletyr used it as an excuse to throw what little restraint he had to the winds and went on a crime spree, even going so far as to strike down his own mate in order to get her treasure. After fleeing retaliation from his mate's relatives, Grezanletyr was drawn into the Mists.

Grezanletyr was lost in the Mists for months before emerging in Hazlan. After a violent encounter with Hazlik that left the dragon badly injured and humiliated, Grezanletyr fled to Forlorn, where he presently makes his lair. Although he was never truly cursed before entering Ravenloft, his fall from grace has ensured that he must regularly feast upon his own treasure in order to maintain his strength.
