Grandfather Wolf

Grandfather Wolf, Grandfather Boar, and Grandfather Owl constitute a triumvirate of legendary creatures of exceptional size and intelligence who, through their actions, influence greatly the course of events in the forests of Kartakass and perhaps throughout that land. The three do not constitute a council. Rather they are rivals. The person of Grandfather Wolf has been associated with Harkon Lukas and the person of Grandfather Owl has been associated with the Vistani. Could Grandfather Boar be the personification of humanity? In the stories of their rivalry, Grandfather Wolf is understood to triumph over Grandfather Boar, but the suspicion is often broached that this was the intention of Grandfather Owl from the start.
