Glumpen Swamp

The Glumpen Swamp is revolting swamp located in the Moonsea region of Faerun, not too far from Phlan. It is to the north of the Twilight Marshes, with the Vanishing Hills serving as a border between the two.[1] Glumpen Swamp is home to a clan of yuan-ti that were enslaving orcs of the Bloodhand Tribe, with Largo Bloodhand leading a resistance.[2]
When the Mists began transporting regions of Faerun to Barovia, the Glumpen Swamp was seized and placed not too far from Orașnou. The Glumpen Swamp stayed in Barovia until the defeat of Esmae Amarantha, after which all of the NPCs, locations, and items swept from Faerun into the Mists due to her actions were returned to Faerun.[3]
