Fritz Winterboone[1] is one of the last members of the cursed and dying out Winterboone Family. He carries Winterdamsel, a magical sword and family heirloom that protects him from the family curse. Fritz has recently joined Midway Haven.
While Fritz is a highly skill man-at-arms, he is not without adversaries. Kristoff Lutemmi has long coveted Winterdamsel, at first to avert the curse but now merely for sentimental reasons. for his part, Fritz has become determined to punish Kristoff for his treachery.
