Dread possibility involving Lucre and the University of Liffe. During the Liffen Riots of 756 BC caused by the admittance of nonhumans to the College of Liffe, four students attempted to break in to steal back their tuition. Five of Lucre's coins were among the coins the students attempted to steal. In response, Lucre unleashed an explosion of coins, killing all the would-be burglars. The cause of the deaths was never discovered, and the whole matter was quickly slipped beneath the rug.[1]
